Manufacturer's Description:
DIM-plus contains diindolylmethane, a phytonutrient found in cruciferous vegetables including broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower and kale. Unlike other plant nutrients such as soy isoflavones, diindolylmethane has unique hormonal benefits. It supports the activity of enzymes that improve estrogen metabolism.

This it it!

Details:
I too have tried many things in an attempt to balance my hormone levels since I turned 40. Medical scrips were the WORST! Don't go there. Progesterone cream and DIM-Plus alongwith severely limiting refined sugar and carbs is the perfect ticket for me.

Promotes estrogen balance and detoxification

Details:
I was researching methods of decreasing the amount of excess estrogens in the body, and that's where I first read about DIM. 'DIM' is an extract from cruciferous vegetables, those are the ones no one eats enough of, like cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli. Its biochemistry is too complex to get into here, but I was glad I took the time to investigate it for myself and started using it, as excess estrogen does a man no good at all (nor a woman). There aren't too many 'legitimate' supplements out there for dealing with excess estrogen, so this would seem to be one of the few, and it's good for both men and women. I take 3 twice a day. I withheld a star because the label's description of the BioResponse DIM complex is a bit hard to understand.
