Details: Take it from a guy who's tried and used a lot of fish oils for a very long time; this really is about the best fish oil softgel on the market right now. Here's why I say that and have switched over to this one. First,it's one of the newer generation ultra-concentrated fish oils with a (minimum) 70% concentration of omega 3s. The fish oil you're taking now is probably 30% or 50% omega 3s. That means more softgels to swallow to get the gram (1000 mg) or more of omega 3s you need every day. Secondly, these are enteric-coated; they don't break down until they reach the intestines, making burp back almost impossible. A lot of the people who really need fish oil the most, like the elderly or people with sensitive systems, have a hard time taking any fish oil because of burping and aftertaste. That won't happen with this product. As you can tell, I've been very happy with it, and have recommended to my family to switch over to this one. I take 4 per day, 2 with breakfast and 2 with dinner.
