Electro Mix Overview

Alacer's Electro-Mix is a criminally overlooked product. Far less expensive but more convenient that bottled sports water or other electrolyte replacement drinks, Electro Mix is a better solution. Electro-Mix is an effervescent drink mix powder that you add to water to turn it into a true 'sports water', or you can think of Electro Mix as a mineral electrolyte replacement drink like PediaLyte or Gatorade, but without all that darn sugar. Electro Mix also makes a smart stash for any coach's bag, camping trip, first aid kit or home medicine chest. People add a packet of Electro-Mix to their bottled water before, during and/or after training hard. Electrolyte minerals are critical factors for maintaining homeostasis and health. Exercise-induced sweating, and illness-related vomiting and diarrhea can all cause significant fluid and electrolyte mineral loss. This leads to profound weakness, confusion and if not remedied, serious illness or even death. Don't wait to take action. Stay hydrated and replace vital electrolyte minerals anytime you're losing fluids. The most convenient and cost-effective way to do that, by far, are Alacer's Electro Mix Drink packets. Electro Mix Description from Alacer
Every living person needs electrolytes, especially potassium.

Potassium is an essential element needed by cells to maintain water balance and optimal nerve function. Each cell requires sodium and potassium, but in differing amounts. Inside the cell, the concentration of potassium is far higher than sodium. Modern diets typically contain excessive sodium at the expense of adequate potassium. ElectroMix helps provide essential potassium that is often lacking in modern diets.

Discontinued by Alacer?? BAD MOVE!!

I discovered Alacer's Miracle Water back in the 90s, and it was great for combating my stress related to hot weather. Miracle Water was discontinued, but my local health food store showed me the packets of Electro Mix, each of which treated a gallon. I was helping someone move from Texas to the Northwest, and it was perfect. I was upset when Alacer changed the packet size to it only treating one liter. The hot weather this summer caused me to run out of my supply, and I was extremely upset to find that Alacer has discontinued it, with no return in sight.

Excellent Electrolyte Supplement To Put in a Bottle

I have used this for several years. Usually mix it with Champion Amino Core Shooter in a liter of water. Works great for weight lifting days and for cardio. Keeps your Potassium and Sodium levels up during strenuous, extended exertion.

Replaces critical electrolyte minerals lost through sweating or other causes

All fluid loss involves a loss of essential minerals. These minerals, called electrolytes, are critical for sustaining life which is why severe fluid loss is always taken seriously by doctors, coaches and athletes. This product from Alacer, who make the popular EmergenC packets, provides a quick, convenient and inexpensive way to make an electrolyte replacement drink far superior to sugary sports drinks. Just add it to a glass of chilled water and let the contents dissolve. It would also be a good addition to the home medicine cabinet since recurrent vomiting and diarrhea both rapidly deplete electrolytes.
