Overview
BSN may be best known for its blockbuster preworkout supplement NO-Xplode, but BSN has formulated a full line of very effective bodybuilding products such as NITRIX® AVPT and Syntha-6. NITRIX is the "Vaso-Muscular Optimizer" in BSN's product line. In other words, NITRIX is formulated to dilate blood vessels to increase blood flow to muscles. That increases the muscle pump that occurs during strenuous strength training. Weight training pumps your muscles up anyway, but weight training under the influence of NITRIX pumps your muscles up a LOT. Users can expect much larger pumps and increased vascularity when using NITRIX. Theoretically, this state of increased blood flow may help muscles recover, too, but that's not something to take to the bank just yet as the research hasn't proven that definitively.
Like other nitric oxide formulas, NITRIX is based on a proprietary complex of arginine and citrulline amino acid forms. These are the two primary precursors of nitric oxide (NO), the body's natural vasodilator. If you want to get muscles pumped up you have to 1) Train hard and 2) Open up and expand blood vessels, which requires an increase in NO. Increasing NO production is the primary function of NITRIX. NITRIX also includes the anti-fatigue factors creatine and beta-alanine. BSN makes some claims about NITRIX unrelated to its vasodilation properties such as reducing pain and stiffness and promoting endurance. You might experience these benefits to a greater or lesser extent, but we're sure what users will notice most about NITRIX is a radically increased muscle pump in response to their training. That may offer both psychological and physical benefits besides enhancing the muscularity of one's physique. As BSN points out, NITRIX is used by models, bodybuilders to bring out shape and vascularity before photo shoots and competitions.
NITRIX is designed to be used on a 6-12 week cycle, after which a 4 week break is recommended. BSN also recommends limiting your intake of free form L-glutamine to 10 grams or less daily when taking NITRIX.

| Details: Being 25 and the best shape of my life, Nitrix has reduced my recovery times dramaticly. From yoga, pyrometrics, grappaling, striking and weight training this product delivers. Depending on the workout I will you 1pill (BJJ & MMA), 2pills(Cardio) to 3pills (weight training). I reccommend Nitrix as well!

| Details: I've tried several differnt N.O. products to get a sustained pump, and I think this one is the best. After taking this product for a few days you can really feel it start to work.
