Muscle Milk RTD Overview

These are the popular ready-to-drink Muscle Milk high protein meal replacement shakes. People love the taste of Muscle Milk, and that's great, but Muscle Milk has more going for it than just taste. Muscle Milk has a better macro-nutrient ratio for building muscle mass than many protein shakes, just the right balance of protein, fat and carbs for building muscle. The ready-to-drink format of Muscle Milk is great too, eliminating the hassle of blenders and shaker cups altogether. With Muscle Milk Ready-to-Drink, finally, you can have your shake and drink it too.

Muscle Milk RTD Description from CYTOSPORT
Working out is only part of the battle. If you want to build muscle and gain strength, you also need to recover properly. Muscle Milk Ready-To-Drink gives you a generous portion of protein to help fuel that recovery. These delicious shakes come in several flavors to satisfy your taste buds and nourish your body.

PRECISION PROTEIN BLEND: We’ve developed a unique mix of complete multi-source proteins. These include calcium sodium caseinate, milk protein isolate, and whey protein concentrate, which provide amino acids - the building blocks of muscle tissue. Translation? High quality protein to help you recover from exercise and build muscle.

LEAN LIPIDS™: The Lean Lipids in Muscle Milk come from sunflower and canola oils and medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). Long-chain polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids from sunflower and canola oils provide essential fatty acids. The body can use MCTs for muscle energy. What does this mean? MCTs are less likely to be stored as fat than typical fats. (See nutrition facts for total and saturated fat content.)

11 GRAMS OF CARBOHYDRATES†: Our carbohydrate blend contains a mix of complex carbohydrates, fructose, and dietary fiber. Complex carbohydrates are composed of energy supplying glucose units, fructose can be used by the body to make glycogen and fiber is valuable for intestinal health. What are we trying to say? Muscle Milk contains a mix of carbohydrates with unique functions.

Great recovery aid, and it tastes good

Great taste!

These RTDs taste really really good. I like to keep a box of muscle milk RTDs in the fridge at home and take them on the go when I don't have time to fix a meal. I typically drink them when I'm trying to gain mass and sometimes I'll drink one after a meal like dinner to help me gain weight faster (since I'm a hard gainer). Great product, can't wait to try some of the other flavors.
