L-Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid synthesized by the body from ornithine. Arginine supports protein synthesis as it is involved in the transport and storage of nitrogen. Arginine is important for proper physical performance because it is used by the body to produce creatine. Each tablet contains 1000 mg elemental L-Arginine from 1204 mg L-Arginine Hydrochloride.

Details: I don't use any NO products anymore. Instead I've gone back to basics and am just using L-arginine, Not the expensive multi-arginine blends. Most of what we know about the benefits of supplemental arginine we know from studies of L-arginine, not the altered forms. It works, and its inexpensive and I like being able to take a substantial dose with just a few tablets, not a handful of gelatin caps. I take NOW nattokinase along with the Jarrow arginine as my "circulation stack".
