PepZinGI is a 1:1 molecular combination of L-Carnosine (B-Alanyl-L-Histidine) and Zinc. PepZinGI enhances stomach lining integrity, owing to its free-radical-quenching capability as well as its effects on growth factor and immuno-modulating activities. The actions of PepZinGI are based on the molecular combination of L-Carnosine and Zinc, which has an affinity to adhere to and coat gastric mucosa. Because of their fast diffusion rates, admixtures (non-molecular combinations) of L-Carnosine and Zinc are far less effective.
