Good vegan protein source

Nice animal-free protein powder. Does have a slight "rice" after taste, compared to other protein powders. Avoids artificial additives. Give it a try!

The price of this product is reflected in its flavor and consistency. The only way you can choke down this product is to over flavor your current mix of whatever you use. Do not pay attention to the flavor on the label of JARROWs Rice Protein powder because there is little if no resemblance of what they are claiming it tastes like. If you are not so concerned with flavor, the price is very affordable.

very smoothe

I have been using this mix for four months. In a blender with 2 tblspn ground flax seed, 1 tblspn milled chia seed, 1 oz. hemp oil, 16 oz water, banana, blueberries, strawberries for breakfast and it holds me for 6hrs. cut my carbs by 80% and increased my protein. lost 18 lbs. Do a greek 0% yogurt for a mid day snack so I don't eat junk. all works very well.

consistently good

I have used this protein powder for several years, and most recently, in addition to a whey protein. I appreciate the high protein to carb ratio, and the full amino acid range. Rice is supposed to help us be more alkaline, so that is a plus. It is definitely rather chalky, but I mix it up with other stuff (frozen fruit & rice milk - oops there goes the glycemic index....) regular milk (organic), coconut milk, stevia.
