Manufacturer's Directions
Shake tub well before opening to ensure the oats are evenly distributed in the powder. For adults, add two (2) scoops to 8-10 fl. ounces of cold water or milk and mix thoroughly in a shaker. For best results, consume immediately after preparation. We do not suggest the use of a blender, as it will significantly increase the thickness and decrease the drinkability of the shake. Increase or decrease the amount of liquid to achieve desired consistency. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications you take with your health care providers.

Great Concept, but Needs Work

I had two sample packs of the Cocoa flavor Protein & Oats. I will say first that this is a great concept. However, my first packet was used a post-workout shake and this did not go over so well. The packet was mixed in 10 oz. of water in a shaker cup. Since the oats mixed in with the protein powder are full grain oats, they do not mix well and get stuck in the strainer lid use in many shaker cups to mix products thoroughly. After drinking the shake, most of the oats were left in the cup. Flavor was okay. My second packet, I used as a mix with about 1/2 cup of dry oats, 1 serving of peanut butter and water to create a post-workout breakfast. This was by far a better success than the shaker cup method. Be careful with not getting enough water in the mix as this becomes very thick. I think the product would be much better if the oats were ground into an oat flour that would mix better.
