Hormone Balance

A nutritionist recommended NATROL Calcium D-Glucarate to me to help maintain a balance of hormone levels to eliminate excessive estrogen. I have been looking for safe ways to maintain a healthy hormone balance, and now it seems I have found it. I am excited to use this product to help keep my estrogen levels down in hopes to maintain lean muscle mass.

Potent detoxifier, may protect against cancer

I discovered calcium d-glucarate supplement around the same time I discovered DIM, when I was researching ways to deal with excess estrogens, especially estrogenic toxins from plastics and industrial chemcials. Calcium d-glucarate is overlooked by most people who probably think it's just an obscure form of calcium supplement- it's not, because it's the glucarate part that's important in this case. CDG, it turns out, inhibits a liver enzyme that enzyme slows the elimination of certain hormones and toxins from the body. By inhibiting this enzyme, glucarate enhances the clearance of a wide range of hormones and hormone-like toxins. That could amount to a protective effect against cancer, but that remains to be proven. I'm mainly using it for detoxification, 2 (very small) tablets twice a day.
