Great for colicky-type cramping or any type of intestinal bug

Here's a great and very simple product, enteric-coated peppermint oil intended to soothe cramping or colicky type pain. I've seen people buying 6 boxes of this at time in one healthfood store. It's been very effective when I've used it, although it didn't work right away. Takes an hour or so. Peppermint oil has actually been a traditional herbal remedy for bowel and intestinal discomfort (among many other things) for centuries. But the problem with peppermint oil is that it's very volatile and breaks down quickly in the stomach. The enteric coat on Pepogest capsules keeps it intact until it reaches the intestines, where it delivers a payload of organic peppermint oil. Not sure how it works, but peppermint oil has been studied as a way of helping sufferers of IBS and Chron's disease, so there's something to it.
