Details: You may already know that if you're trying to put on lean body mass and muscle, slow-absorbing proteins are just as important as fast-absorbing proteins like whey. You may have also found that if you use a whey protein shake as a meal replacement, you're often hungry a short time later due to whey's fast-absorbing nature. Whey proteins aren't the best choice for a before-bedtime shake for the same reason. Casein protein, which comes from milk like whey protein, is a slow-release protein and a better choice in these situations. But many people can't use dairy proteins like casein or whey. NOW Food's 100% Egg White Protein is the perfect choice if that's you. Egg White is very high-quality protein and cholesterol-free. It has a different taste profile from dairy proteins, not necessarily better or worse. Some people prefer it to the taste of dairy proteins.
