Whole Psyllium Husks
Overview
There's a good reason why virtually all all fiber supplements contain some psyllium, many contain mostly psyllium and why this one, which is 100% psyllium husks, might be the best choice for you. Psyllium fiber - made from the husks of tiny psyllium seeds - is a 'perfect fiber' supplement since it contains an ideal balance of soluble (cholesterol-friendly) and insoluble (bulk-forming) fiber. Psyllium is very inexpensive and very well-tolerated by virtually everyone. NOW Foods Whole Psyllium Husks are great for psyllium users who don't need or want a bunch of sugar and flavorings in their psyllium, just the psyllium, the whole psyllium and nothing but the psyllium. You don't need to use large amounts, especially all-at-once. Start with small doses and work your way up. You may not be able to mention it at the cocktail party, but you'll feel better when your elimination is regular and complete.
