Spirulina Pacifica Overview

Spirulina is a popular Superfood and many companies market spirulina products. But they're not all the same. If you're considering using a spirulina supplement, you should know that NUTREX HAWAII Spirulina Pacifica is about the highest quality spirulina you can obtain short of cultivating it yourself. You probably already know about the benefits of spirulina, densely concentrated with phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals and protein. It turns out that how spirulina is grown has a huge impact on its nutritional value. So does the packaging. But spirulina products are not all grown or packaged the same way.

NUTREX HAWAII Spirulina is grown using mineral rich seawater sourced from 2000 ft below the surface of the Pacific. This is a far purer and more nourishing source than the river or irrigation water used to produce all other spirulina products. Once harvested, NUTREX uses a patented proprietary drying process that preserves the nutritional content, and then packs the product in glass packaging with oxygen absorbers and sealing caps to ensure the maximum freshness and potency. Speaking of freshness, spirulina should be refrigerated after opening whether in tablet or powder form. You'll probably find tablets easiest to use. If you want the best Spirulina product, go with NUTREX.

Spirulina Pacifica is a petrolium free cultivated product

Spirulina Pacifica is the trade name for the algae that is cultivated adjacent to the Kona airport on the big island of Hawaii. The process was developed by my son in law and is totally free of any petrolium base processing. This product can be placed in the freezer for well over a year for future saving. So, order many at once if you desire. You will save on shipping costs that way. The fresh water that is used for processing is pumped from an old NASA deep drill project about 2 - 3 miles deep in the Pacific Ocean. There is no other fresh water of it's kind in the world. I believe that this product (Nutrex Spirulina) provides the best and purest results. Nutrex Hawaii is the packaging company name where, they receive the large compressed cubes and re-package into compressed tablets and granual powder for distribution to company's like AllStarHealth, then to you and me.

Tablet form is much more user friendly than the powder

I've always liked what's in spirulina nutritionally, but I don't like the taste of spirulina powder. So I'm glad this product comes in tablet form, I find I use it much more often.
