Critical Liver Support is an advanced, highly concentrated liver support program formulated to assist individuals with special liver needs.&Dagger. It combines powerful milk thistle seed extract with antioxidants, amino acids, herbs and nutraceuticals. Research suggests the use of 420 mg of silymarin a day from an herbal extract of milk thistle standardized to 80% silymarin content. Critical Liver Support contains 80% silymarin (480 mg) with the added benefits of alpha lipoic acid, N-acetyl-cysteine, vitamin C, selenium and more. It is a natural approach for deep liver support and natural organ detoxification.
Silymarin is a flavonoid contained in the dried fruit of milk thistle and is responsible for the health benefits of the plant. As with other bioflavonoids (antioxidant-rich plant compounds), silymarin is a powerful antioxidant and has been shown to help regenerate healthy liver cells. Milk thistle extract may also protect the cells of the liver by blocking the entrance of harmful toxins and helping to remove these toxins from the liver cells.
