CHEMICAL SWEETENERS DON'T WORK FOR EVERYONE

I use Think Thin bars as part of breakfast. I say "part of" because 10 grams of protein doesn't really cut it to start my day - it's not enough. So I was really happy when I found these bars since at 20 grams of protein, they could be a total breakfast! Then I went to eat one, and I saw that the box said there were 0 grams of sugar. That usually means artificial sweeteners unless the manufacturer only used stevia. Stevia is the only REAL natural sugar. I found that out the hard way because last year, my pancreas started failing and I got Acute Pancreatitis. My pancreas still works, but not great. I cannot eat artificial sweeteners anymore. These would work for me if they used a low amount of sugar instead of the Maltitol. My pancreas cannot process it. The normal Think Thin bars have 5 grams of sugar in them. If they made these with 10 grams of sugar, that would totally work for me. It's still low enough to eat, without the artificial sweeteners that make me sick. It would be nice if Think Thin would make a high protein bar that the rest of us could eat instead of making ALL of them with artificial sweeteners.

Love these bars

These are perfect for me - filling, with low enough sugar that I don't get a blood sugar crash later in the day. My favorite flavor is caramel fudge it feels like I'm eating a candy bar without any of the downside!

Very Happy Camper

My doctor told me I needed more protein in my diet. I increased my food intake, and bought one of these bars. Each one has 20 grams of protein and no sugar! I become "hooked"! I eat one almost everyday to add those 20 mg of protein to my diet. Ive tried MANY brands, but these are the only ones you can call delicious! They really taste like home made brownies! I love every bite!!
