First it’s only 10g of protein per serving but the scoop is so big I think it’s a bunch of filler. I got the watermelon flavor and it tastes like chemicals and looks like I’m drinking a pink highlighter. I would never recommend this it’s terrible.
I have been using this product for about six months. So far I am very satisfied with the way this product helps my body. I am not a bodybuilder but I do some strength training on my weekly exercise plan. I want to add that somehow this is helping my lower back. I have herniated disks that drive me crazy sometimes and after I started with the alpha amino my back problems have reduced to a minimum. I still fill the discomfort and have to be careful but it is 100% better. I do not know if there is any other product that helps me more than this one. I think my muscles were deficient in one of the amino acids that the alpha amino provides me. That is probably part of the benefit I have gain. I recommend to try it out, it has done well for me.
Ive tried them all.
Ive tried damn near all post workout supplements and this one is superior to me for the price per serving and all the goodness it packs. My body responds well to it, tastes good and helps me recover quickly.
From a functionality standpoint: Incredible. Post workout am sore, painfully sore, for 4-6 days. Since starting BCAAs (and Creatine) my recovery time is cut in half and I never hit that 'pain' point like I did before. No matter the type of lifting you're doing, I recommend using BCAAs!
From a taste standpoint (Icy Blue Razz): Decent. When I first started this, I followed the directions. The taste was too strong and too artificial for me. I started to use 16-20oz of water and there was a dramatic difference. The taste still has a slight artificial hinge but is mild and doable.
Overall, I recommend this product to anyone.
