Tiger's Milk Bar Overview

With over a dozen different vitamins and minerals plus protein and carbs for energy, delicious Tiger's Milk have been a popular energy bar for decades. In fact, Tiger's Milk may have hold the claim of being the original energy bar. But that doesn't mean it has an old-fashioned nutritional profile. In fact the nutritional profile of Tiger's Milk bars is similar to that of the 40-30-30 and Zone concepts which were only introduced years after the original launch of Tiger's Milk Bars in the 60s.

Tiger's Milk Bar Description from Tiger's Milk
Introduced in the 1960s, Tiger's Milk is known as America's first nutrition bar. These great-tasting healthy snacks come in four carob-coated flavors (peanut butter, protein rich, peanut butter and honey, and peanut butter crunch) and two sizes as well (regular and king size). Loaded with 18 vitamins and minerals, with up to 11 grams of protein, Tiger's Milk can satisfy any snack attack in a healthy way.

Same great taste as when I tried them in the early 70s !!

I think Tiger's Milk was the first "protein" bar that was popular, especially growing up in Maui. I never walked out of the grocery without one. Once we moved to the mainland they seemed to disappear from sight. Found them again here and still love the taste. My favorite is the original.

My long association with using Tigers Milk Protein Bars.

Tigers Milk Protein Bars are the only bars I have sampled that I do not get very tired of eating. We use them for snacks after exercise, horse rides, fishing and hunting. They have just the right amount of calories as well as protein.

These taste so good & it is really great that they are also good for me! They are great any time of day or night! Didn't even know they existed until 1988 when I moved to Maui! They were really popular there! No matter where you live, these are great nutrition bars!

Yummy tasting

Not the best choice for a protein bar as far as some ingredients but I have to say I loved the taste of these back in the 70s when I first tried them, and still love the taste. They are a good quick snack. The "plain" is my favorite and sort of reminds me of malted milk powder in them. As long as they continue to make these, Ill continue to buy them.

Yummy and nutritious!

These are the only protein bars I have ever found that I like. All the flavors are good but this one is my favorite.
