As this product is designed specifically for children there are no drug interactions known at this time. There may be some interactions for adults on blood thinning medication who choose to take products that contain fish oil. Parents of children with seizure disorders may want to check with their nutritionally-oriented health care practitioner before taking any supplement that affects brain function. Elevations in blood sugar and cholesterol levels have occurred in some diabetics taking fish oil supplements. Parents of diabetic children should be aware of this effect and monitor the sugars frequently when introducing fish oils.
