It works well
Our body produces Melatonin while sleeping and only before 1 am. Adult has to take 5mg before going to sleep. So, it is great supplement!
Aids in staying asleep
I am a light sleeper; my acupuncturist recommended this after I had cancer treatment and it has helped me to STAY asleep once I get to sleep! I took 1 mg per night to start until I got used to it some people complain of grogginess or headaches when they first start the supplement. You can also split these pills easily to take only .5 mg if you wish, to start. I have been taking 2 mg per night for ten years and its a great aid. I take an additional mg if I am expecting jet lag while travelling. Wonderful assist to good sleep.
