whole husk is what you want
Psyllium is a great fiber source. Whole husks are much better than powder, in our experience. The 10lb bag is a good price and we have been very satisfied with the quality. Commercial "fiber bars" are really more candy bars. This psyllium husk allows you to make your own that deliver the RDA of fiber in one 1/2 cup bar. Should be a part of everyones breakfast routine.
Good price convenient bag to reseal. i have always had good success with Now.
Buying whole psyllium husks is a bit hit-or-miss since they develop a stale odor and taste fairly soon after harvesting, but when I order from All Star Health I almost always get fresh ones. This is especially impressive since they have the lowest price Ive found!
If you need to boost your fiber intake, I would recommend this product. It may impede any medications a person is taking, so its most beneficial to take 2 hours after or 2 hours before a meal. It has really helped me with my regularity.
Labeled "Whole" but "0" seeds
Most Psyllium products are husks only and sold solely for their laxative effect. This husks-only Psyllium possesses minimal intestinal cleansing action. The seeds, even when crushed into a powder, still retain tiny granules, which scrape away the accumulated fecal build-up on the colon wall. This product is mislabeling their product on purpose. There are no Psyllium
seeds in the product.
